Project presentation
On April 27, 2018, the presentation session of the “M&V Project: Competitiveness Challenge” was held at the Capital do Móvel Exhibition Park. The project is part of the Collective Action Support System, with the institutional and financial support of the Northern Regional Coordination and Development Commission, through Portugal 2020 funds.
The M&V project was conceived with a focus on furniture and clothing companies in the municipalities of Paços de Ferreira, Paredes and Lousada, which are dominant in AEPF’s intervention area.
The ‘M&V: Challenging Competitiveness’ Project aims to boost business skills, increase productivity, boost innovation and cooperation and boost business competitiveness in the market. We are convinced that we will create the necessary support instruments for the qualification of the participating companies, stimulating their competitiveness and fostering sustainable regional development.
Cumulatively, the Project aims to contribute to territorial clustering by fostering organizational and marketing innovation, with cross-fertilization effects to other geographical areas in the North and other sectors (tourism and hotels, for example), by promoting interaction with the creative industries and the scientific – technological system (SCT) entities, which have high potential for value creation.
